Lubrification

Lubrication of band saws is of prime importance.

This cleans the blade, removing all the sawdust stuck to the teeth, cools it and keeps the temperature down. Oil is the most efficient lubricant. In particular, it allows for permanent cleaning of the blade, preventing sawdust from sticking to the teeth and thus extending its cutting life. Due to its very high lubricating capacity, oil consumption is very low, giving rise to good performance. Spray lubrication prevents unnecessary contact with the blade, reducing heating caused by a lubrication felt pad and tension loss.
